Jò Badamo was born on November 16th 1965, in Castellammare delGolfo, where he still lives and works. His workshop is at n.30 via Ravenna. His art career is assisted by the famous art critic Nic Giaramita, from Trapani.
He exposed his work for the first time on August 12, 2000, provoking appreciation by the exhibition visitors that were fascinated by the high stylistic qualities. Critics seem to be interested in him, especially in his monochromatic style.
In 2001 he took part of the Regional Painting Exhibition, promoted by Kandiskij Academy of fine arts in Trapani, achieving second place.
On August 11, 2005, he prepared another exhibition with a different novelistic module, characterized by a clear surrealism and an accentuation of colors, thus beginning a new period. In November of the same year, he exhibited his paintings in Alcamo, at the Marconi meeting center. The press continued their interest in his paintings.
On June 13, 2006 he exhibited his paintings in Alcamo’s Castel, with the other artist of the same movement. In the same year, he took part in an exhibition in Marsala, at the NastroAzzurro Show.
